Hôtel Bertrand

This is a very basic stay and useful for passing through the area. There was not food in the evening on this day although reviews of food were good. There was an en suite and free parking at the location

The breakfast was disappointing really and the room more basic than we were expecting. The host was friendly enough. This location is not exactly on the tourist map, so it provides a basic stop over for one night if this is your purpose.

This is an old style French hotel. My room had clearly been renovated. The staff were very friendly and the evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was a bit basic but the half board arrangement was not expensive. Good situation less than 10 minutes walk from the Main Street. Quiet area and car park to the rear of the hotel. Ideal for a stopover for one night

Yes the hotel looks dated however, Our six rooms were all clean with fresh towels no rubbish or dust that we could see. The hotelier did not speak English neither did the staff we spoke to, this was not a major issue as it gave us a chance to use our small amount of French. Other guests we talked to helped with the translation so no big deal. I would recommend this hotel to motorcyclists as they have secure parking in locked garage that our room overlooked. We stayed Saturday night, noise was not an issue almost no road traffic. Food in the restaurant was good, we had a small choice but no complaints. breakfast was the usual continental only one thing we encountered was no cold milk for the cornflakes. We will be back.

As I said hotel is dated, this is reflected in the price though. This is not a complaint but it may be helpful if they had a member of staff who could speak English.

Basic 'budget' room. Clean. Good breakfast and excellent evening meal offering big portions with choice of 2 different priced menus, each with several choices - 4 courses for €15, or €20. Allowed off road parking in private garage for our motorbikes.

Only bottled beer available. Outside could do with a spruce-up.

Secure parking for my motorcycle , exceptionally nice staff and food.

The hotel staff provided good service. The bathroom was recently renovated, spacious, and modern. Convenient parking available. The room was pleasant overall.

The bathroom, although spacious, lacked a door within the room, which was inconvenient. The restaurant staff accommodated us outside of regular hours, but we found the food not too good.

Outside cleanliness, food stains on the owners clothes.
