Hôtel autonome de France - Le Patriarche

Small, private hotel. You do have to walk up a flight of stairs with your bag. It's conveniently located just uphill from the UN organizations in a small suburb of Geneva. Nice litlle town. Good buss connection to UN and Geneva. Very, very helpful staff. Good food. Cozy. Very clean. Some staff speak English if that's needed. As I suspect is common, there was no AC, but windows open and there was a fan, so OK. I'll come again when I have business at the UN. I appreciated the smaller town and hotel.

Location and cleanness

The room specific was bot openly disclosed at booking com. In the heat wave the room was given on attic. It was impossible to stay at all. No a/c and no chance to open window bc of smells and noise from nearby cafes. No understanding and attention to situation from personnel. I was told it was my choice of the room, but I check and nothing in the listing was mentioned about the rooms location.

It looks like it was recently renovated and was very cozy and comfortable. Very central location in the town, on a lively street. The bistro was really good too. The bus stop for buses going to Geneva was a very short walk away.

The bed felt a little small.

Le personnel tellement bienveillant , attentionné . Le restaurant-terrasse, il faut réserver car tres apprécié ! Le quartier tranquille et animé de petits commerces.
