The great Communication with the Hosts, The location is fabulous, Who kept Barton hidden so well. It is a lovely place to stay. The room was well laid out and very well decorated. The Shower was spot on as was the rest of the bathroom. Just a great place to stay. Thank yoiu

Unfortunate that an alarm from a nearby shop was sounding for the majority of the night but nothing to do with the hotel so can’t be held against them.

The room was lovely, it had a very nice high quality and super clean feel, the bed was comfortable, enough tea and coffee and even porridge for the morning. The bathroom was modern and fresh with clean towels and decent sized shower. I really want to tick all the happy boxes for this stay, but as I had little to no sleep, I just can’t, but have still rated it 8/10. I hope my feed back is listened to and a couple of changes made, doors fixed with a key lock and lock and chain, bathroom lock and the washing machine moved down stairs, because this would have been the best 10/10 stay I have had in Barton upon Humber if I had of slept, the nicest room and I have previously stayed at the George inn and other places in the town. I would like to point out that I would stay again, but not in the same room, unless changes are made to make the room feel more secure.

Cupboard door, that led into a small cupboard with linen, also led to the opposite room. The opposite room door was locked, I didn’t know if there was a key in the other side, if the other occupants could unlock it and walk straight in my room when I was asleep, or if the room was empty other occupants could walk in and gain access to my room. The door to the room I was staying in didn’t even shut, let alone could be locked! I was a female on my own, I felt very vulnerable, the room felt unsecured, unsafe and I couldn’t sleep as I jumped at every noise coming from that direction, which was just people walking in the main door or the creaking of quiet space. I’m not a jumpy person, but because the room felt unsecure it seriously freaked me out. Having a shower in the morning, same issue, no lock on bathroom door and as the main room did not feel secure, I felt extremely vulnerable again!. Also the washing machine needs to be moved from the same floor as guests, the whole bathroom vibrates and the sound is very loud, even in the bedroom, when it’s on a spin cycle … both of these things really spoilt my stay, in what is a really lovely room. I would consider staying again, but would make sure I didn’t get room number 2. Photos of the door that wouldn’t even close and inside the door to the other room. Great if you know who is sleeping on the other side, freaky if you don’t and especially if you’re on your own.
