The location. The building is lovely and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed for a night and the room was very comfortable. The only slight issue was the noise from the air con. We were in room 7. But overall very comfortable and the products in the room were lovely. The breakfast was fantastic. Would highly recommend

The orange tree is a gem of a hotel in the beautiful Richmond district of London at a great price. It is perfectly placed across the road from Richmond station and just a short distance from Kew gardens. The staff were amazing, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, which really makes for a great stay. The room was clean, beautifully furnished and very spacious. I’ve stayed in many hotels in London over the years and space is costly, so what a luxury to have a room so comfortable. The facilities within the room were great, TV great, radio great, mini bar great and the shower was fantastic. It's close to a main road, but to be honest there was little to no noise. I only got the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, but again great. I absolutely loved my stay, thanks guys.

Although rooms very boutique and niche some rooms having a roll top bath - we found that our room was really warm being on the top floor - ac was poor so on warm day the room is uncomfortably warm - if your an early riser you can listen to all the planes arriving/departing Heathrow at 6am every day all day till 10pm - On busier weekends there is quite lot of noise outside the premises yes it is a pub - Breakfast was mediocre and service slow. Apart from the location I don’t have many positives about our stay.

To be honest I can’t think about anything.

The staff were extra friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Perfectly located being just across the road from Richmond station.

At breakfast, it was a little annoying having the TV really loud and music playing in the background, perhaps use sub titles on the TV to make breakfast a little more relaxing, but I recognise that's being really picky! That aside, we would not hesitate to recommend.
