Very easy to locate, nice friendly approach and room spacious and very clean.

Parking - you have to park on the street (which is free via the hotel) however, you have to drive around for a residential space of which there are none and so had to drive around for a while, luckily we got one very close eventually but could have been a couple of streets away which would have been very inconvenient. We stayed in winter, dread to think of summer,

The rooms were immaculately clean, and had everything you need or expect from a reasonably priced hotel. The location was excellent as it was a two minute walk to the beach. The dining room is laid out simply, with each table seating four. I had the vegan option from the menu, and the dishes were excellent. The chef prepared a vegetable hotpot, 'meat'balls in a tomato sauce, and a stuffed pepper, all of which were absolutely delicious. There is a set mealtime for dinner and breakfast, but I can see that this is the best way to provide good, fresh food for everyone, at such a reasonable rate. There is a bar, and comfortable seating areas on the ground floor. There is a lift, but check with the hotel before your visit if an accessible room is a priority for you. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and professional, and went out of their way to give good service. I was very impressed. All in all, it was a very pleasant break in comfortable surroundings.

Went on a cheap trip for a long weekend. Wasn't expecting the Ritz, didn't get it but we did have a very good weekend here. The hotel is a bit tired but our room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast included, both good quality and plenty of choice. The 99p drinks were more than acceptable! Staff were all very pleasant, professional and helpful. Ignore the poor reviews, some people just enjoy complaining. Lots to see and do in Great Yarmouth. Would definitely recommend walking along the beach in both directions. The town centre is pretty dead, lots of empty shops but go exploring and find the ancient walls and towers, the Rows, the Banksy, grade 2 listed gasworks, Waterways, Time and Tide museum, The Minster etc. Some good bars eg Blackfriars Tavern, The Mariners, Tombstone etc and great eateries like Amici for lunch and the brilliant Cat Cafe. Definitely good vfm
