Everything. Checking in and out was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of quaint seating areas and a nice large bar and restaurant. The icing on the cake was being able to park literally right outside our room. We loved it and will definitely be back!

The pillows were a little hard for our liking but everything else made up for that. For anyone going now ( late April 2026) they are currently constructing a new toilet block. This didn't cause any noise, mess or inconvenience but we had trouble locating the toilets until we asked. I'm sure the new ones will be excellent!

Beautiful location and a small but comfy double room. Lovely double doors opening onto the patio and a well stocked tea and coffee drawer. The food was delicious.

Breakfast service was a little slow some days. The evening menu was nice and what we had was delicious, but rather limited for vegetarians and vegans. We would have eaten there all 4 nights had there been more choice.
