Dinner excellent quality, breakfast very good, all freshly prepared. Lots of nice touches. Staff all did their utmost. Room very comfortable and clean apart from carpet stains.

Shower took a while to come warm, Carpet clean but dirty marks. Personally, don't like the useless extra cushions on the bed and towels on bed not in bathroom.

Lovely bright spacious room. Breakfast was nice and efficient. Staff were all pleasant. Reception area was beautiful.

The location was perfect, the receptionist was welcoming. The entrance is visual stunning. Free parking onsite with plenty of spaces available. The towels were thick and fluffy. The young lad was attentive at breakfast providing coffee, toast and another marmalade.

The cleanliness of the tired room could have been better, the room actually smelled of sweat and dusty. There is mould in the bathroom, there is very little plugs and had to sit on the floor to dry my hair also no hair conditioner just shampoo. For a treat i ran a half bath but the pipes had deposited debris in the water. The breakfast was below par for a 4* hotel i felt, there was a long wait for items to be replaced as hotel was busy. The quality of breakfast items could have been better.

Visited Montrose for Mo-Fest and hotel is a short walk from centre and has plenty parking. Breakfast was decent enough, plentiful and hot. Comfy bed and roomy room (22)

Instead of having a bar of soap in bathroom, it would be better with soap dispenser. Also be better with shower gel dispenser instead of sachets. It was also very warm and room could benefit from a fan or windows that open.
