Happi Hotel and Spa

Very old building, not refreshed from least 20 years

Not clean, low water preassure, had to wait 5 min for hot water

The bedroom was really small but clean if I would have seen the rest of the hotel before I seen the bedroom I would never have stayed there

The rest room was dirty with loads of cats

Easy and quick check in. Right next to a cafe that serves a decent breakfast. Car parking close by.

The whole place absolutely REEKS of car urine, and I don't mean just wee, but the horrible nose burning head ache inducing smell of male cat spray. I counted about 15 plug in air fresheners from the front door to our room on the first floor which I assume they think is helping the smell. IT'S NOT. The room was, grim. There's no other way to put it really. Mould everywhere, unclean, but I wasn't expecting 5* for the price we paid. Luckily we were only there for someone to lay our head after a day/night of drinking. As for the "spa" part. I have no idea what that is about but there was a sign offering massages in a dingy downstairs room that was full of cats and junk, but again that wasn't the purpose of our stay sooo. Would we stay again, no. The smell was beyond sickening and all 4 of use felt like we smelt of it even on returning home.

Beds were very comfortable and rooms nice and quiet. Great location for Funny Girls etc.

Room was too small. Should of been a single room not a twin. Had to climb over my friend to get into bed. Didn't have a shower as we couldn't get into it as it was so small. Basically there wasn't enough room for two of us to be out of bed at the same time. It's also a very dated property and needs an upgrade.

Lovely hotel. Staff made us feel welcome on arrival and made it clear to contact them if needed. Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable.

Always a great welcome from the owners. We keep coming back!

No complaints, it's our go to hotel for Blackpool.

The location

Standards of cleanliness and overpowering smell of urine/ammonia. Size of the room amounted to no more than a cupboard. No hot water and not enough water pressure for a shower. Bed was rock hard and extremely uncomfortable.

As always a great stay. Cheap and cheerful but with everything you need.
