Grinkle Park Hotel

Excellent hotel, in excellent location near Whitby. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable and very clean rooms. Breakfast and evening meals are very nice. The hotel has a very nice garden for relaxing walks. We truly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in this hotel many times and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent location. Everything was immaculate. Room was lovely and exceptionally clean. Evening meals were lovely. Breakfast was great lovely choice of pastries and cereal etc and lovely cooked breakfast. We really couldn’t fault anything. All the waiting on staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay again.

Attitude of member of staff on check in was abit off. When we said we had a small dog with us. She said they didn’t know even though I had messaged when booked to state this. Although our stay was excellent apart from this.

Nice size and very clean room with a view over the garden added to our stay, the food was delicious, both evening and breakfast meals. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing two night stay. We stayed 4 years ago and it was the same experience. We will return as soon as our schedules allow. Highly recommend.

Had a fabulous stay at Grinkle Park. We got a great deal for dinner, bed and breakfast. We arrived with our dog to a warm welcome at reception. The room was fabulous, and all the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious so we look forward to another stay as soon as we can. Thank you for looking after us so well.

This would have been 5 stars had we been able to get hot water within a few seconds of turning on a hot tap, as it was it took 12 mins for hot water to arrive, they said my room Heron was the end of the line it was also the smallest, therefore we should have been offered some discount. The staff were friendly, clean and tidy and willing. It was our send visit to the hotel. Had we booked earlier we could have got a better room.

Enjoyed an overnight stay with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as usual we weren’t disappointed. Stayed in the Grouse Moor suite which is a very spacious comfortable room overlooking the rear garden. The restaurant menu has been updated recently and offers a good selection for all tastes. The staff are always welcoming and friendly especially Linda and Vicky on reception. Looking forward to our next stay in July.

It’s in a quiet location away from the madding crowd.

It’s very remote from everything. The hot water supply to the bed room we occupied was very poor, we booked a four poster bedroom but this was not available. So this was very disappointing. We would not be using this hotel again, we will return however to the Salutation in the Lakes.

Absolutely fantastic stay, from the moment we went through the front door to the moment we left. Staff all very friendly, shared a joke or two, and helped us with the key to our room! The bartender was lovely, and made us the most amazing Espresso Martinis I have ever tasted. The food was fabulous and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in that area. I can see why anyone getting married would have a wonderful experience here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent relaxing break at Grinkle Park. The staff are so friendly, The rooms spacious and well equipped, the food just to our tasteand if the weather is not too god , so many comfortable chairs to enjoy a book and a drink.
