"Lovely stay with delicious food."

The hotel was in a lovely location. And the room was delightful. Dinner was absolutely delicious. Some of the best food I have had on this holiday. And the breakfast was also delicious with a lovely member of staff who came out to talk to me and gave me some recommendations of where to walk. Thank you.

"A great and historic hotel in a beautiful location . The highlight of our Shetland trip."

All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. They always made time to answer questions and enhance our stay. The Hotel was a perfect base for us to explore the beautiful area.It was great to return to such a comfortable and welcoming base after a day’s activity. Food was excellent . Good varied selection. Vegetarian choice . Great local fish. Lovely room and view. A hotel with real character .

Location is perfect for walking the ness and Esherness. Food excellent, especially the enormous plaice special.
