The room needs a good refurb, it was very basic, looks grubby with a freezing bathroom Beds were comfy.

Very dirty. Broken windows, untidy room. Litter on floor. Door broken to room. Very noisy after 11pm.

The view is good and most of the staff were very helpful.

Ullapool isn't cheap but don't think you are getting top-notch accommodation. We have stayed there before years ago and not much has changed. It's great when there is live music but otherwise, it is pretty basic and like many small hotels it's the attention to detail that let it down.
