Lovely staff great location

Room tiny, creaking floors and bed, shower mouldy grout

Beautiful location, great host , room was lovely and can park at the door . Restsurant was excellent, great fresh local food… breakfast and dinner perfect , lots of choice . Amazing view from the restaurant. We would definitely go back

The location is well positioned and it has a lovely indoor and outdoor setting

Under the bed was disgusting with dust, crumbs and hair etc. The cleaners obviously think that no one will look underneath, whilst the rest of the room is almost immaculate

Excellent from start to finish, accommodation, food, staff, location. Will definitely return.

Area

Bed was uncomfortable, could hear some staff swearing on occasions, Toaster was broken on first day but what was unacceptable was it was same on second day. Most pleasant staff were the cleaners

Breakfast was excellent. Location other than the construction site was excellent.

I would have liked to know that they had a major construction project going on right below the hotel. It started early am and went on until around 7 pm. We had a terrace, but was spoilt by the continuous noise. The hotel is building numerous holiday cottages.plus it was extremely hard to find a parking spot due to construction vehicles parking in the restaurant car park.

The cleanliness was very poor. Cutlery was not clean and unchecked. There was a hair in my breakfast. The bed linen, pillows and duvets were old and yellowing. The decor around the building was outdated with peeling paint and broken items. Road noise was terrible. If you wish to charge London prices you need to improve and invest in the quality of your facilities and people. Personally I would not stay here again.
