The breakfast was delicious. There was a fan in our room on arrival which was brilliant as it was so hot.

I liked it all. It would have been nice to be able to buy a paper.

Fabulous waterside location, room quiet and comfortable with lovely harbour view. Guest kitchen with filtered water, fresh milk and snacks. This is a great place to stay with your dog with easy access to the garden and a dog shower available

Nothing to dislike

We had a fabulous stay at the Porlock Weir Hotel. We took our two dogs and stayed in a large room on the top floor. It had a beautiful view of the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, and we enjoyed eating on the terrace, and having a drink in the hotel lounge. Our dogs were made very welcome. We would stay here again without hesitation, preferably in the same room!

The ONLY thing that could have made the stay perfect was better Wifi. Admittedly, we were on the top floor, but also in the lounge, it was very slow. This wasn't a problem for our trip as we were just there for leisure purposes. However, I often have to work when I travel and, with the current hotet Wifi, that wouldn't be possible.

Location was picturesque on the Porlock Weir. Breakfast was enjoyable. Decor aesthetically pleasing.

Our room was far too small. The window was single pane and rattled all night in the wind. The electricity went off 4 times on one evening due to heavy winds. Wasn’t great because I was showering and drying my hair. The hotel was noisy.

A gap in the window where the aircon went out. It was quite cold - however the heating came on which made it ok
