"Lovely lodge very quiet park"

"Peaceful break for couples, but average at best"

Peaceful site, with lodges spaced apart from each other. The lodge itself felt spacious with 2 bathrooms which was helpful.

Sadly, beds were very uncomfortable and there was some damage onsite the lodge - including to the hot tub cover, which was hard work getting off every day.

Breakfast was lovely however expensive when paying for 3 sets of everything.

"Relaxing breakaway in stunning surroundings"

The lodge was beautiful, we had the most relaxing week away. Staff were amazing and so helpful and polite. The surroundings are stunning.

The hot tub was filthy so we gave that a miss - which is a shame. Our last night was disrupted by a wedding held in the function suite. The music was ridiculously loud and didnt end until after midnight. I'd perhaps either advise the volume to be lower or not hire out the cabins closest to the suite when you know there is a wedding/function on.

The lodge was lovely. I had a relaxing time. The nice surprise was the place was like the photo . A lot of times you get shown a picture that doesn't resemble the actual area.

We were very happy with the lodge, it was only a short drive to shops etc but the site itself was very quiet, we found it very relaxing even with a 6 year old. We used the onsite takeaway which could be delivered to our door and was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff on reception were very friendly too.

We didn't like not being able to drop out bags off directly outside the lodge. Our lodge just happened to be the furthest away from the car park which was a short distance but on the hottest day of the year it was hard work carrying everything. Perhaps the road could be opened during check in and out, or trolleys provided ?
