The location is great. Good size

One of the beds was broken. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. 2 person toaster in a 6 bed cabin! The resort is described as luxurious. It is far from this

the location was good for us as we wanted a quiet place for a break.the lodge was very spacious and clean every thing we needed.good bar and restaurant lovely area outside with plenty of shade to sit .

as this resort has not been going that many years i think they have done very well so would not be fair to say that we did not like anything.

Second time here, just perfect.

A large cabin, owner is Dutch and clearly takes so much pride in her cabin which is reflected throughout.

I can’t fault the cabin itself, BUT I had to check out an hour later than usual, there was a mix up in the times. I was charged 35 pound for the extra hour. Also I had to leave without my husband as he was called to work and had to leave earlier and although we made sure that he took most of the luggage I was still left with a baby and a small child, with a lot of baggage as you can imagine what you need for an infant. I stressed to staff how I would find it difficult to get my stuff to the reception area with a baby in tow, and I wasn’t offered any assistance. The hot tub maintenance guy offered to help and instructed me to leave my stuff by the cabin and he would collect for me. He never did, when my lift arrived an hour later I had to drive round and collect my stuff. This isn’t something I would normally complain about, but I wasn’t offered any disappointed by the lack of humanity here. I left the lodge spotless and even stripped all of the beds and left a tip for the cleaners as I knew I had overstayed by an hour not realising in order to help them with the turnover. That’s before I was charged and I wasn’t helped with carrying my luggage. I would be careful booking here if you need any kind of over and beyond assistance.

It was a lovely place and I was impressed with the lodge with the hot tub. We had a problem with the fridge but the maintenance guy sorted out out quickly for us. The maintenance staff were helpful and polite. I would definitely stay again

Loved this cabin one of the best the grounds men who check the hot tub are very helpful everyone seems so nice, the cabin was spotless had a real feel of a hotel but with the outdoor living . The grounds are kept pristine and it’s quiet and peaceful wonderful retreat.

There was nothing not to like we had fish and chips on the Friday and it was amazing fresh chips although we have had them in the past and they tasted like reheats but not this time the restaurant food was lovely.

Peaceful and quiet.
