The Yewdale Inn and Hotel Coniston Village

Great central location

We were there in an extremely busy evening over bank holiday weekend, so food ran out before we were able to eat. Dishes like fish & chips and the wood-fired oven pizzas looked great though.

Loved our stay at the Yewdale Inn. Great central location in Coniston with the lake in easy walking distance. Room was a good size, all the facilities we needed and bed was really comfy. Food was superb with a good choice of cooked breakfast and plenty of options for evening meal including a Sunday roast menu. What made our stay here was the staff who were excellent and really looked after us despite it being super busy (warm and sunny bank holiday weekend). Will definitely return!

How you took my.money and dint refund me absolute robbery

Absolutely loved everything based on the fact that the staff was so amazingly nice. Perfect location, quiet room, unpeccable cleanliness, superb breakfast, and, the previous night, great dinner, the best place to go!

Maybe the shower preasure was not that great bit in the end it didn't even matter.

The staff were amazing. i arrived 6 days in to a long distance walk to a heaving Coniston due to the bluebird K7 festival. They quickly sorted a table for evening meal and were very attentive during what was a very busy evening for them. The bar area was noisy but the room was super quiet. Due to how busy they were I allowed a stranger to sit at my table as I was finishing my meal, staff checked immediately that I had invited them. It is a sad world where this needs to happen, but staff attention to detail and safety was much appreciated
