"Friendly place."

Great location. Fabulous Sunday lunch. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Room was compact but nice. We chose the hotel because it had a bar and its location so we arent complaining.

Staircase was in need of a tidy around the windows. Toilet seat broke twice whilst we were there (3 nights). When repaired, around the fixings wasn't cleaned.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. Very clean & comfortable single room with ensuite. Shower worked well. Plenty of tea & coffee and bins emptied during stay. Superb breakfast cooked to order served by a lovely smiley young lady who was very pleasant and attentive. I would definitely stay here again. The wifi was excellent too, which was a bonus!. Thank you.

Not important but a shower mat to stand on would be useful.

"Exceptional"

Room was clean. Tea coffee etc were renewed on 2nd day without having to ask. Staff friendly. Breakfast was very good. We have stayed before.

Bathroom door lock was unusable. Front of building needs a bit of tlc.
