"Ok. Not the ritz but not the pits either."

Comfy bed, good breakfast, reasonable bar rates and restaurant prices

It’s very tired. Needs renovation and our room although ok wasn’t the cleanest (mould in the shower etc). Also a very dangerous socket / switch for the towel rail on the wall outside the bathroom that was taped up.

The staff were friendly

The room was in bad decorative order. The shower was broken & the toilet holder was hanging off of the wall. No bath mat. The breakfast was average. No fresh fruit salad available. We didn't bother with breakfast on the 2nd day. We spoke to Lee about our complaints.

Excellent location, clean. comfortable and friendly informative staff. The restaurant is only open from thurs to sunday but is very very good. The homemade steak and ale pie was outstanding served with the best chips i have ever had. The breakfast is also very good and cooked to order served by pleasant and friendly staff. This little gem is excellent value for money and ticks all the boxes,

Excellent location, breakfast was fantastic, staff was so helpful and friendly.

The beds were not comfortable- thin and springy mattresses. We needed two rooms for our group as well and our rooms were not near each other, which was a little less convenient. Over all I would stay again.
