The Sid Valley does not accept payments made by check or American Express card. Reception closes at 21:00. Guests are advised to book tables in the evening restaurant in advance only and this is subject to an additional charge. Please note, pets can only be accommodated in some rooms at the property, and there is a GBP 25 per day, per pet. Only small to medium dogs can be accommodated, and pets are only accommodated based on prior authorization from the property owners. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times at the property, and should not be allowed at the property on their own at any time. The owners of the property have a pet dog.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. Traditional country property in a beautiful location. We had a spacious, well furnished room and modern bathroom. Log fires and central heating very welcome in the depths of winter. We were made so welcome in every way by the generous owners/ hosts and enjoyed excellent food and wines during our stay.

"Lovely small rural hotel with friendly hosts"

Excellent hosts, food and comfort . Good quiet position on the bank of the River Sid. Easy drive to the sea at Sidmouth and other locations.

Situation on a farm road which is narrow and sometimes a bit worn but at the same time the rural environment is very attractive

Friendly welcome, quiet clean comfortable self contained room with self catering and shower. Two fields to walk dog. Good dinner. Lovely setting in small valley near coast.

Larger cafetière for two people. Refillable soap dispenser.

Absolutely brilliant break away. We were so well looked after. Breakfast was excellent so much to choose from. Swimming pool and facilities were great, and our cottage accommodation, again, exceeded expectations. We will definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great room. Very clean. Hosts were very friendly, and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was excellent and even though we hadn't booked a table we were given a table at late notice. Any requests we made were granted with no problem. The swimming pool was welcome on such a warm day with great views over the valley. I would definitely stay again.

No WiFi in the room.
