"Everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Buttermere - highly recommend"

Staff are really welcoming and can't do enough for you - and I mean all staff, which isn't always the case in other places. Check in was informative and friendly. Room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Bathroom was large and newly refurbished too - great shower power and temperature which was appreciated after a hard day walking. Parking is great as each room has a dedicated space, in what is a very bust car parking area. Breakfast has lots of choice and was very tasty. Food in the hotel bar is also excellent and just what we were after. Location is perfect for exploring the fells without having to drive anywhere - perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place for stays with family, friends and groups.

Beds a little creaky when turning over but slept very well regardless.
