Friendly staff. Great location for the Pennine Way. Lovely place to spend a rest day while hiking the Pennine Way. Only a few minutes walk into Bellingham Village. Food lovely. Room lovely, had a balcony.

The pool could have been better. The changing rooms weren't great either.

Bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was good, the room was perfect to stay with a pet (with garden access and view), surrounded by nature at night with owls, foxes and deer to be heard and very friendly staff. Late check-in was made super easy.

The room was very hot when we arrived, but that was easily solved by opening the garden door and sitting outside for a while enjoying the night sky...

Lovely breakfast

Nice room and view. Lovely staff, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very nice, good choice and plenty of it! Evening meals were very good - obviously they have a great chef. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the North Tyne River making for some lovely local walks.

The hotel needs some investment, paintwork was rather tired and scuffed in places. The pool and changing rooms need a complete facelift. There was what looked like an ominous black damp patch on the roof of the indoor pool, very unsightly and a bit alarming after all the recent publicity about damp.

Brilliant location in beautiful countryside. Always a warm welcome. Great food. Great beds. Lovely pool & sauna to relax in after a long days drive.
