Breakfast great. Staff helpful, friendly and courteous. Towels and bed linen lovely. Don’t think the small pool should be chargeable. Grounds lovely but would benefit from more attention to detail when mowing/strimming. Some of hotel looks tired and needs some TLC/investment. Own riverside walk is fantastic.

The staff have been here a long time and much of their clientele are returning guests who appreciate the homely feel.

The whole place was outdated and mismatched. Service was fine but not special.

"Great place to spend a quiet weekend"

Beautiful hotel well located in the countryside. You can get to Kielder by car in about 15 minutes. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the food was beautiful.
