Lovely welcome. Beautiful place

Lovely old property, great to be informed of the history, lovely clean comfortable room. Friendly staff. Lush food in the pub. Great bathroom facilities. Lovely thoughtful tea, coffee and cookies supplied.

The only downside was being downstairs below the pub so a bit noisy with people walking overhead until a bit after closing time.

It was super cute with a lovely room and an amazing shower. Plenty of car parking and good WIFI. Staff were really polite and efficient. The pub was also lovely and had a lovely evening meal.

Breakfast started a little late (9am) so unfortunately didn’t get to sample it.

Welcoming, very clean and well maintained.

The only apprehension about staying again is no one is on site over night. The main door clearly needs to stay open for access/ fire etc. which goes to carpark. So that leaves you a little open just the hotel room door that locks. Obviously in bigger hotels you would have key passes or codes etc to a secure main door.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Shame they dont offer breakfast over the winter period as the food is always excellent. Evening meal was delicious. Look forward to our next stay in the Spring.

The bed - so incredibly comfy!

I was in room 2 and I think that is immediately underneath the kitchen. I was looking forward to an early night, but someone was working incredibly hard upstairs and I could hear everything. I promptly fell asleep after 11:00 when they had finished. Luckily the bed was incredibly comfortable and a nice place to be whilst I waited for them to finish. If you are in Room 2 and would like an early night, I'd suggest downloading a white noise app on your phone.
