COLD, COLD, COLD, COLD!!! The Clock Face is very tight on when they put on the heating i.e. when I arrived in the room it was freezing and I had to ask for it to be turned on (room took a couple of hours to heat up). After 11pm they turn off the heating till 8am, so using the toilet twice in the night (probably because it was cold), was a very cold thing to do as the floor tiles and toilet seat were freezing! After paying £75 per night, I would expect a warm, comfortable room temp!!!! I am sure their gas bill was not £75 a night or even close! Just sayin'. The shower flooded as it did not drain away quickly enough (drain probable needs unblocking). Thankfully I am a professional teacher and respectful guest so stopped the shower and put down towels to stop the water flowing into the bedroom, BUT had to wait 5 mins for the shower to drain away until I could finish off my shower. The hot water also takes 1 to 2 minutes to reach the room from the hot water tank. The Clock Face provide ear-plugs in the bathroom and I understand now as the music in the pub below continues till 11-12pm so sleeping early is a problem, though the ear-plugs helped. I was here for my Mum's funeral so needed to get up early on the funeral day and sadly I could not sleep early. I had to park around the corner as the signs in the car-park told me that I could not park there, which was strange. Overall I had a nice but VERY COLD stay and not £75s worth due to the above and comparing better and cheaper places in the area.

Staff very friendly. Had a separate gluten free menu. It’s rooms above a pub so was a little noisy until closing but very quiet then. Very comfortable room
