Poor condition. The carpet on the stairs warn out holes warn though. Crack in basin in room more warn out carpet in bedroom . Unclean bath . Best of all bed bugs. Manager offered a next night stay. Why would I stay at a place that has bedbugs?

As usual the breakfast is great in a air conditioned area.

Usually hotel is great. Our room didn’t have conditioning and was facing the sun all day so unbearable to stay in room. We had 2 fans but didn’t make a lot of difference to heat in room.

Position is everything with this hotel. Great staff. Good food. Breakfast exceptional 😋 pool and facilities very good.

Just a small upgrade to bathrooms would be nice. Plus rooms are getting tired overall. Our room just had a curtain but need a voile curtain. For extra privacy. Had a ground floor with people wondering past.

The food was excellent and the room had TWO chairs and a table

We drove past first time as all we could see of the name was Langstone- signage could be better

Our first room was awful! Black mould all around the bath, cracked tiles in the bathroom, the big mirror was very dirty had you could tell it has not been cleaned. the TV did not work properly and kept flashing, I moved the TV to try and get it to work and the amount of dead insects and spiders webs I found behind it was awful. I complained to the receptionist who apologies and found us a new room but this also had black mould around the grout in the shower. We pre-booked an evening meal but when we turned up they could not find the booking I had made via they're email system. We had a carvery and a drink, at the end of the meal I paid over £70 which seemed very high, when I asked for the bill I found a service charge of £6.83 we were not told they would be adding a service charge and to be quite honest they did nothing for this as we had to serve our selves as it was a Carvery. The whole dinning area was very poor with large patches of paint missing on the walls and every chair had large pieces of leather missing from the chairs, several people had aircon dripping on them from the ceiling and the couple next to us waited for 25 minutes for the bottle of wine they ordered, obviously under staffed. All in all we were very disappointed in our 3 night stay as it cost £360 and I for one expected a lot more than what we received

Nice location. Handy for places to visit within 30 minute drive. Chichester, Portsmouth for example.

Outdoor areas a little neglected.

The location and pool

No air con room was far too hot. Heated towel rail was on all night and could not switch off. We didn’t sleep well that night as we couldn’t even open a window very far. When we asked a member of staff in the morning, as we didn’t sleep all night , she told us they keep all the towel rails on to dry the towels in all the rooms and leave the guests to turn them off which we were unable to do and we’re not notified.
