Marshall Meadows Manor House

What a gem! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the food was divine, and the staff were incredible. It feels very high end for what we paid. We went for my mum's 90th birthday and they pulled out all the stops to make her stay extra special. Such thoughtful little touches like a bottle of fizz and birthday card in her room, a candle in her sticky toffee pudding, and the staff singing happy birthday to her and fussing over her. They made it such a memorable trip and couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend. : )

Beautiful surrounds and building

TV didn't work properly, tried to fix and the dust behind TV was outrageous. Shower was a trickle of water which was hard to regulate. Either too hot or too cold even with miniscule adjustment of valve. Also, no air conditioning but there was a fan in room which was great for blowing hot air around the room.

A lovely hotel it has a gorgeous outdoor seating area for drinks. Gardens are lovely. Evening meal was very good.

The room was dated and exceptionally hot! The window didn’t open far and the fan was inadequate. The barman was obviously very new and had no cocktail making experience. The mojito I had was missing vital ingredients. The evening meal took an hour to be served and there was a very lengthy delay between courses.

The location was quiet. Our room had a sea view. The breakfast was very good

The room was clean but a little tired. The window in the room could not be opened which felt unsafe never mind could not ventilate.

Tv has hdmi attachment but there were no cables at reception. These only cost a few pounds so worth getting some in. Our room (15) was directly above kitchen with noisy extractor fan and even though outside temperature was only around 20 the room was too hot and the window only opened a crack. Wardrobe sprung open on to adjoining wall so next door would keep hearing bangs. Similarly doors to room are not soft close so make a loud bang when closing. These are small issues which should be easy to address and well worth doing because otherwise this is a lovely boutique hotel.

Property was just stunning so appealing. Down the secluded driveway then it opens up to such a lovely view of hotel.

I liked everything

Zeer vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel en een goed verzorgd ontbijt.

We hebben in twee kamers verbleven en ze waren allebei extreem warm, terwijl we geen verwarming aan hadden en de buitentemperatuur veel lager was. Dit maakte het voor ons en onze hond zeer onprettig.

Frühstück war gut, verschiedene warme Varianten extra bestellbar, frisches Obst

Frisches Gemüse wäre wünschenswert gewesen (Gurke, Tomate...) Eine Steckdose im Bad hat gefehlt Schlüsselkarte musste jeden Tag neu aktiviert werden
