Marshall Meadows Manor House

The room is was spacious and comfortable. The hotel in general looked good and was comfortable. The location was quiet and rural.

There were problems getting a table for dinner on both nights. This was not because the restaurant was busy but because the hotel had events on and couldn’t handle cooking for the events and the restaurant. They need to sort this out because it would stop me using the hotel in future. It should be made clearer that there is NO LIFT and help with the bags should be more than the poor receptionist offering to help. They should have a porter on duty.

Grosser schöner Park rundherum und genug Parkplätze. Tolle Aussicht und nettes Personal:) war super dass es zwei Frühstücks Räume gab, für Gäste wie wir mit Hund sehr angenehm wenn man sein Hund zum Frühstück mitnehmen kann. Willkommens Geschenk für unseren Hund fand ich super :)

Leider war das Zimmer nicht sauber, die Nachttische waren voller Flecken. Es war so warm in dem Zimmer weil man das marode Fenster nicht richtig öffnen konnte. Allgemein leider nicht sauber, vorallem wenn man genau hinschaut.. Durch die Lüftung im Badezimmer roch es ab und zu nach Essen..

Staff were great, the breakfast was lovely and grounds are beautiful. Hot tub as ever was amazing.

We couldn't use the outdoor furniture as it was all covered in bird poo including the cushions and decking. Looks like they've never been cleaned 😕 Which was a shame as it's the first time it's been sunny when we've been previously.

Very dog friendly without encroaching on others who may not be so keen on dogs. Excellent location for exploring the area

Maybe a dedicated dog walking area and the dog waste bin could have been emptied more regularly but it didn't spoil our stay

Poor evening meal in the dining room Very noisy outside due to a Prom taking place so we couldn't get to sleep till midnight Someone could have offered to help with ours as we had room 2 upstairs Not really a classic country hotel and I think it struggles to justify a 4 star rating

Beautiful location, very high standard

Lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Very good evening meal. Staff were very professional as it appeared to be a difficult evening service.

Long wait for evening meal but didn’t spoil our evening.
