Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed, very good breakfast

Bathroom could be updated but was totally functional

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient. The bar could do with more comfortable seating: there's an area by the log-burner that is cosy, but that soon fills up and then you are left with hard chairs and tables. There's plenty of room available to make it feel more homely. Our room (15) was a decent size, but the en-suite was rather cramped - it would be difficult to find one smaller. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The beds were rather hard, but we slept well enough.

The room's door closer was set so strong that the door would nearly take your arm off as it closed and would bang the door loudly if allowed to do its thing. I'm sure that could be better adjusted.

Old but well kept. Staff is really sweet and hardworking. They are very helpful. Amenities are well kept. Very convenient free parking.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a tad dated.

Decor was a bit dated and tired.
