"Ok value for money but in need of a refurb and deep clean"

The location was very central and opposite shops. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The rooms had a very prominent and unpleasant smell. While still not that cold, opening a window was tricky as smoke would then drift up from the garden. The bathroom was also old and kind of dirty.

The location was perfect, the staff were very attentive and nice and the bedroom was comfortable and quiet, we also enjoyed the food in the pub had a good vibe

My wife and I were doing two days on The Thames Path and the hotel was a great stop. Very comfortable and a good location.

Ideally situated near the Thames Path. Approachable friendly staff. Reasonably priced event menu with a good selection . Both the cheese cake and Rum & Pineapple puddings were great
