Airport Inn Manchester

Absolutely nothing.

Hotel smelt as soon as you entered the reception area. Doors, walls and carpets all had multiple marks and stains. A very ran down hotel, which wasn’t an issue as the price reflects this and it was only to stay one night before flying from Manchester Airport the following day. However, when entering the room there were stains on the sheets, hair on the mattress, multiple stains and bits left on the chair which was very obvious it hadn’t been cleaned at all. The aircon was also not working, on one of the hottest days of the year in nearly 35 degree heat. We had to check out of the hotel shortly after, which cost an additional £114 on top of what we paid to stay here. We then get told from Booking.com the property won’t come to an agreement on a refund which is absolutely disgusting.

We were put in a family room 2 adults and 2 kids with no aircon, we have one fan then had to ask for an other one but did absolutely to the room. We all had the worst sleep ever and for that we were up early and left.

Tired run down hotel and just felt utterly shabby from the carpark to the rooms. The rooms were absolutely basic with bog standard fittings, tired nasty furnishings that made you feel as though you didn't want to touch anything or get into bed as you thought everything was dirty (although the rooms weren't actually dirty) A below basic hotel i wouldn't even use again in a last resort emergency. The staff however were happy, polite and well attentive and deserved better than to work in such an unloved building.

Close to airport, nice comfy bed . Tea and coffee facilities. Free car parking for 1 night stays . Being able to see planes landing and taking off.

Hairs on bathroom floor . Cleanliness could have been better . Possibly a later check out , as breakfast finished at 9.30 .Stairs lights had cobwebs on them . Big spider in corner of bedroom .
