Royal Duke Hotel

Cute room, clean, good location. Great shampoos, conditioner, soaps.

Toilet ran consistently. Manager started to come in my room accidentally after I had checked in and had just gotten out of shower. Breakfast not included. Could have used a refresh on toiletries.

Sink did not shoot water in the right direction

I liked almost everything from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were clearly a team and dedicated to making sure things ran well. More like a family than a staff. The Pub sets the tone, but upstairs is just adorable. It's newly renovated upstairs, and while it was a little DIY, that actually fits the eclectic vibe of a building from 1928. I could not stop bragging about this boutique hotel. Well done. The double room was like having two rooms because the bathroom and kitchenette were between them. Super clean, well cared for.

These aren't complaints, just nice additions: Blackout curtains for the windows would be lovely. Hooks for hand towels in the bathroom. Dish Soap for the kitchenette. Instructions for early check-out.

Room was small, and getting hot water to the sink was an issue. Lots of street and railroad track noise

The location and price were excellent. Nice clean room.

The music from the eatery and bar was loud and could be heard in our room.

Very comfy bed

I had no hot water one day

simple and clean. The pub downstairs is the best.

Breakfast only served on weekends but fabulous. Hotel's location suited our purposes.

Front rooms overlook the train track with trains passing through during the night and sounding their horns.
