Royal Duke Hotel

Loved that there was a little livingroom/kitchen. So handy! Also loved that the sink/mirror were not in with the toilet and tub.

This is a wonderful hotel with so much character! The room was a little small (we had a Queen suite - room #10), but nicely appointed and cozy, and the bed was awesome! The pub is super cool! I love the history and the decor - just a fun place to stay! And you can't beat the location, either!

The service in the restaurant on Sunday morning was a little slow, and there was hardly anyone in there (we only saw 1 guy). Once we finally got a server, it was ok, but it took a bit before someone came by. Definitely not a dealbreaker, though!

Quaint little hotel with cool history, nicely retrofitted and refurbished. Comfortable beds and coffee provided.

Charged more for room at check in than what i was quoted at booking. The clerk said it was because of the difference between the Canadian price and the US price, but that wasn't it - I was overcharged. Confusing check-in (in the bar/lounge) and confusing room access (not easy to get to, especially with luggage). Bathroom was nice but there was no place to set belongings (no shelves or anything ).

Extremely clean and very comfortable. Just because the outside appearance is not fancy and splashy....doesn't mean that the staff and the rooms are not wonderful. Cleaning staff are truly amazing!!!

Great location, very clean, quiet, charming room, helpful staff, perfect for our stay in town.

Shower temperature was temperamental, but otherwise it was a really great stay.

Really good space and interesting double queen layout. Nice to eat downstairs in the pub.

Great location and facilities. Staff were very friendly and responsive to needs. Would return again!

Anytime someone in the building flushed a toilet you be scolded in the shower
