"good for the money"

8.0

The hotel has a good central location and although showing its age it is well maintained and clean. Staff is very helpful with information about the area and booking tours. Breakfast was good and the price was fair for the hotel. Check in was harder than it should have been.

"Beautiful interior"

6.0

I stayed here for one night after being stuck on a 6 day boat journey from Brazil. The interior of the hotel is lovely and the swimming pool surroundings. Rooms are comfy and location is great. However, water pressure in the shower is terrible. I had no hot water throughout the entire stay and the WiFi barely worked in the room and also even in reception! Having a sink in the room is quite odd instead of having it in the bathroom? As I needed to book flights to Medellin and the WiFi was terrible I asked reception if I could use their computer which they allowed me to. However, the man on reception was constantly sending voice notes to his ‘Reina’ (Queen) - I understand they are not busy however, as I work in the hospitality industry - found it a little unprofessional. Please also see the picture attached of the breakfast. Note that eggs are made to order - my friend does not eat eggs and he was given a plate of 4 / 5 different types of bread with butter instead. There is a Donut Company shop just opposite which is a must go to!! Amazing doughnuts and all for a great cause.

"Great location in the city"

10.0

If you want to be close to restaurants , the harbor and Leticia downtown this is a good option . The first night we arrived to Leticia we stayed outside of the city near by the jungle but if you plan to do a lot of tours it is better to stay in the city . The room was clean , nice air conditioning, good breakfast and the stuff was very friendly and helpful .

"A place to stay in Leticia"

6.0

This is a decent hotel to stay in Leticia. There is no hot water for shower. You don't need it but be aware. Leticia is a small town so you can walk anywhere from here. Just a few minutes walk to the river or the Santander park. You either walk or take an auto to go the Brazil border city, Tabatinga. Poor internet.

"Average hotel, ok for a quick stay"

6.0

I stayed here for one night on the way to Puerto Narino. It was cheap, my room was nice and sufficient. I didn't have the breakfast, or eat any food here. The room was clean but simple. It was pretty quiet in the hotel. Traveled in July 2015.

"Needs a clean-up and it will shine"

4.0

Cons: - bed sheets really smell; i don't think they are washed and dried properly - I showered (cold water only) before bed yet I smelled so badly the next morning I nearly puked - no bath soap and only 1 towel - rickety air conditioning makes for a noisy sleep - breakfast is very bland - room wi-fi is poor unless you stand by the door - lobby and hallway wi-fi is excellent Pros: - friendly staff - rooms and common area are very clean (just not the bed sheets) - adjacent restaurant is good - nice lobby and common areas - poolside bar is a nice place to relax out of the sun Really speaking, just stay somewhere else until this hotel spends a little more money on comfort and restfulness.

"too expensive for its standards"

6.0

I ended up here because my boat from Manaus arrived 18h too early, in the middle of the night. The taxi driver knew the place, I could check in after 11pm and pay with credit card. But for COP68,0000 I expect more than a pretty smelly room without a window. It was overall clean, the en-suite bathroom was pretty nice and staff was friendly. But their free wifi did not reach my room so I had to work in the lobby. I moved to another place that is within 10 minutes walking distance, costs less than half and is surrounded by nature, not concrete.

"Great location and price.,"

10.0

Upon arrival there was a bit of misunderstanding regarding the price, but the manager gave us like a price in between which was really nice. They have lots of information for the tourist regarding what to do or to which activities sign up to. Air-con worked great, bathroom and shower were private. Room was huge with one double bed but we had the room with a corridor view with a curtain which was really okay.Breakfast included which was good. Next to the hotel there are few restaurants and one of which was the best of all Leticia. Hotel is also 30 minutes walking from the airport, just in case you're a walker and dont have heavy bags and just backpacks its a good and healthy solution. Located 20 minutes from Tabatinga, City from Brazil. Recommended and if I return to Leticia here is where Ill be staying again.

"This is the worst place I have stayed in 40 years of International Travel- this hotel was outside Puerto Narino n"

2.0

These pictures bear no resemblance to the hotel today. The swimming pool hasn't been filled in 6 years and it has algae water, inspects and filth in and around it. There are no screens at all in the dining hall, in the cabins the screens have holes and there are holes in the floor so inspects are everywhere. The bathrooms (if you can call them that) are outside the room - the sink spigot didn't work, and there are no toilet seats anywhere on the property. I could go on and on - but avoid this place. There are bed and breakfasts in Puerto Narino that are much better

"An average hotel"

6.0

Pros: The pool area was nice and there were some chairs and a couch to enjoy the outdoors. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious with enough room for luggage. Air conditioning and wifi (even if it was slow) were nice after days in the jungle. Cons: The breakfast "buffet" was very basic considering the price we paid - cold eggs, bread, and some cut fruit. The first room we were in was musty and humid and did not have a window to the outdoors, but they moved us to another room within a few minutes that was better. The bed was SO hard I'm glad we only stayed one night.
