Hotel Engel am Bahnhof

Frühstück sehr passend, für mich persönlich zuviel. Zimmer war OK. Im Sommer wäre eine Klimaanlage sicherlich von Vorteil, die hat mir persönlich gefehlt. Sonst sehr netter Service. Restaurant sehr sauber und zusätzlich direkt am See auch eines vertreten.

Das Hotel verfügt über keine Klimaanlage. Im Sommer etwas stickig und sehr warm im Zimmer. Bei offenen Fenster hört man die Leute von der näheren Bar singen, etwas unangenehm wenn man seine Ruhe möchte.

Sehr feines Frühstück. Sehr netter Service. Freundliches Personal von der Receptionistin zur Servicefachkraft bis hin zur Puzfrau: topp! Den Sonnenaufgang am Züri-See am Fenster live geniessen zu können!

Das Ohropax. Ich empfehle auch solche aus Wachs aufs Nachtischen zu legen, das macht Sinn für die kleinen Gehöhrgänge:-)!) - Der Zugverkehr und der Barbetrieb am Samstagabend haben das mitgebrachte Ohropax aus Wax wirklich nötig gemacht.

Etwas laut, keine Klimaanlage, Internet ein Bisschen schwach, aber OK, es ist kein Business Hotel. Kein Problem

I needed to be in Wädenswil for personal meetings, so the location - literally "am Bahnhoff" - was perfect. For those not used to trains, the proximity of the train line and noise might anoy some people, but otherwise it goes with the territory given the location and honestly where I live in CH I'm quite used to it and it added to "the charm" - midsummer view from the window over the train station onto the lake with sunset light on the east Zürich shoreline - put your feet up at the bar/ restaurant downstairs and soak it up. Speaking of which, the bar restaurant has super views of the lake, the staff are very friendly and professional and the breakfast was tip-top -- I would 100% stay here again in future.
