Hotel Restaurant Weihenstephaner Stuben

Room was very comfortable. If you don’t need to stay in the old town, i can recommend this hotel.

The check in instructions were scary, but everything went really smoothly and staff was friendly.

One of the rooms was modern with new furniture and very clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom modern and clean. Free parking near the hotel. Restaurant and terrace at the hotel. Reception staff very kind and helpful (kept perishable food for us in the fridge free of charge).

The second room had traces of cigarette smoke, the furniture was older, the bed quite soft and less comfortable. Lack of air conditioning in both rooms.

I had three nights here. Smaller hotel with a family-run friendly feel to it. Hotel is located just down from the station and you can walk to the very interesting Old Town (for me at seventy-two something of a hike) or take the bus across from the hotel for the short ride to town. The reception staff were very helpful and took a lot of trouble giving me various directions and printing out bus time tables etc.The reception adjoins the restaurant area and the accommodation section has its own entrance next to restaurant. There are no lifts but manager carried my luggage up and down for me. He was very obliging and personable. My room had a sloping ceiling. good bed, nice furnishings, matching décor and roomy shower. All clean and very fresh looking. Very good breakfast served in a large, pleasant breakfast room. Good choice of hot and cold, breads, cereals etc and attentive service from staff. I ate in the restaurant each night. Very convenient and lovely Bavarian meals at reasonable prices. I saw a lot of locals there as well as hotel guests. A personalised hotel, friendly and obliging staff, good location, good room and good food! I would stay again.

We wanted a place that was close to a railway station but reasonably priced ,(Munich is over £100 per night each during beer fest)This place fitted the bill perfectly its a short walk from the station, the apartment was very nice with two bedrooms and a small kitchen et our room was on the front over looking a very busy road but the sound proofed windows were brill, Breakfast was continental with a fair selection of options the people who run this establishment are very friendly and helpful if we go to Munich next year we will make this our base again thank you. please note its a good 15-20 minuets walk into the town proper.

We were given an apartment with 2 bedrooms, although only booked a double room which was very clean. Ate dinner in the hotel. Staff very friendly and food typically wholesome and filling Bavarian style. Continental breakfast - plenty of selection.
