"Great hotel very close to Train station"

10.0

My family and friends stayed here to attend the Landshut Christmas Fair and were delighted that the hotel was within sight of the train station. Although a bit outside the center of the city, it was only a 15 minute walk to the old part of the city and castle. The accommodations were clean and the staff most helpful. Breakfast was included and very good, with a number of hot dishes in addition to the typical German hotel breakfast. Also, they have the Weihenstephaner beers on tap, always a plus!.

"Very Convenient Location"

8.0

You can probably find a more comfortable hotel in Landshut, but for our group this was a decent place to stay. All our rooms were very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Pro: This place is walking distance (2 blocks) from the train station which allowed us to catch a 30 minute ride into the main station in Munich for Oktoberfest. This is much cheap than anything you can find in Munich at this time of year. It is also only a 15 min. walk to the center of town. Landshut is a very nice town and worth a stop all by itself. They have a great traditional German breakfast here. Cold meats and cheeses …and yes those great soft boiled eggs. They also have a nice deck on the back side of the hotel where we spent our night enjoy the night air and other things. Con: This place has no elevator. We were booked on the 3rd floor and we were there on a week tour with large heavy bags. We were only here for two nights, but it would have been much better to be on a lower floor. Given the pros and cons I would definitely stay here again.

"close to the train station, close to the town center, very tasty traditional food"

10.0

I spend several times in this hotel the last years. The rooms are pretty with a nice decoration and very clean. You have everything you need and if you still have any wishes the owners are always there for you. The hotel although includes a restaurant which has traditional bavarian dishes. It's quality, homemade food, prepared with love and the portions are big with a very good price. There are rooms for meetings with all technical stuff included. All in all you feel that is a modern, family owned business with a lovely atmosphere, close to the center and close to the train station. The owners speak fluently english.

"Authentic Bavarian Hospitality"

8.0

If you want a place to spend a comfortable night, enjoy a sumptuous healthy breakfast, in a place close to the train station and within walking distance to the beautiful downtown, this is a great choice! We rented bicycles at the Hauptbanhoff and explored the trails along the Isar River and the very bicycle friendly streets of this quaint town. If you are looking for a bed and breakfast type place, this is an outstanding find not too far from the Munich Airport. The staff kept our luggage after check-out so we could continue to explore the town before our return trip to the airport.

"Don't go"

2.0

Although the hotel was close to the center of town, and indeed it is a beautiful town, well worth the visit, find somewhere else to stay. We booked through europehotels.com but also looked at several other websites. This hotel DOES NOT have a pool, darts, sauna, bowling or, in actuality, ANY amenities. It is a restaurant with a few sparse rooms attached. When we inquired about the amenities advertised, the owner was rude and indignant. He claimed to have no knowledge of this false advertsising. On top of this he acted like we were the ones at fault for not looking at his website (in german). Certainly there must be more hospitable places to stay, anywhere I would think. Breakfast, average Cleanliness good. Hospitality absent
