Location, quirky, good breakfast and dinner, helpful and friendly staff.

No wifi in the room; needed to go into the bar area to get a signal.

Breakfast is amazing, location is great and the staff was awesome.

Hotel was centrally located in old part of town. Convenient for walking. View from my window of the Nahe River bridge was stunning. Room was spacious and charmingly appointed. Restaurant food was exceptional and one waiter was particularly helpful, if not friendly.

Proprietress was a little brusque, but perhaps it was my inability to communicate with her. Room was hot and over the hotel restaurant. So noise was a factor at night, as was cigarette smoke drifting up from the restaurant. Pack light because upstairs rooms means carrying your suitcase up several flights of stairs.

The breakfast was really good. The location in the historical center is great and the outlook from the dining room at the channel and the island too. The room was clean and the bed was average to reasonable. The reception lady was kind.

The TV in the room was broken. There was no soap in the bathroom. No shower screen. The towels were torn. The curtains were installed in such a way that you cannot easily open the windows. One of the windows had a damaged hinge. A number of bulbs in the room light did not work.
