Hôtel & Spa de La Bretesche

O hotel em si é muito bom mas o que é excepcional é o entorno, a floresta , os campos de golfe , o lago e o castelo.

Inicialmente a experiência foi péssima pois nos deram um quarto que não correspondia as fotos do booking. Era velho e cheirava a comida , numa ala que visivelmente é a pior do hotel. Nos sentimos desconsiderados pois havia outras opções e quando reclamamos nos mudaram para um excelente quarto.

Few noise people at the restaurant, but it was not there fault

Beautiful property. Stunning location. Upgraded to a suite which was gorgeous. Electric charging point.

The main restaurant food and wine offering needs work. All style over substance unfortunately. Food overall too sweet. 6 courses took 4 hours. Glassware choice really poor for a Relais property. Wine prices too high. Wine flight was poor and didn’t match food at all. Breakfasts ok only. Fried eggs undercooked. Hotel seems very under staffed. No toilets in the reception area. Have to book swimming pool times the day before. No tea making facilities in room.

Nice surrounding, long walk or cycling around the park/forest just around the corner of the hotel which were very pleasant. Staff were friendly, polite and professional.
