The New Guilderoy Hotel

Beautiful decor . Very friendly couple . Plenty of choice for breakfast - cooked , Continental , cereals , fruit, yoghurt , fruit juice and more - which was included in the price. Lots of small details included e g. Room number is your table number - also on mugs in bedrooms. With breakfast we don't drink tea and coffee - religious reasons - but asked for hot water for drink we'd brought with us. Whole teapot of boiling water appeared on table each morning without even asking. A snug area with tables, microwave , plates and crockery which means you can have microwave evening meals.

Not really anything . It's an old hotel so don't expect perfection. It is extremely clean and very homely.

The bed was comfortable ok to put your head

Bathroom was very cold it literally is miles away from everything and cost unfortunate taxi cook breakfast was just a standard breakfast but greasy communal area was cold so couldn't really sit in there there was no bar or entertainment I'd say the staff was nice but only saw them when I checked in did not see them when we left and the only other time we've seen them was when we had breakfast and that was just the man never saw his wife Wi-Fi did not work in the room the window fairly short it was very stiff

Well where do I start! Simon and Rhona are a fabulous couple and hosts, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Simon's breakfasts are fantastic and they're served by Rhona, who always has a smile for the guests, so you're day is already off to a great start! Rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are comfy and the decor is lovely, they have thought of everything! Fan in case it's warm, a fridge to keep your water and drinks cold, flat screen tv, hairdryer and iron too! Kettle with tea and coffee, a main light and 2 bedside lamps, plenty of plug points also. Plenty of parking spaces around the property which is a bonus. The price per night is exceptionally reasonable, so we've booked again for May next year! All in all we had a fantastic break and can't recommend the accommodation enough, it really is exceptionally brilliant! Rhona even filled our flask up with coffee for our drive home, so that says it all!!!

The Hotel is filled wirh so much positive energy. the hosts were the sweetest most kind people and very accommodating. . I immediately felt at home and enjoyed my stay very much. I would come back any time. the rooms are super clean and the breakfast is a joy. wifi works fantastic too.

Very friendly owners , good communication, warm comfy room , excellent hot and cold breakfast with good choices and quality food , also having a a fridge in the room is a bonus for keeping drinks chilled

Only slight let down was the shower door was very narrow

Excellent value for money, freindly owners, excellent breakfast, room clean, warm and comfortable, plenty of parking near the property. Everything I could have wanted. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast was excellent plenty on offer couldn't be faulted.the room spotless and shower very good.
