Very clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely.

Bed was a bit firm for our liking, but that's personal choice. Other people might love a firm bed.

Parking available and had a pub nearby.Staff were helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was extremely well equipped and very clean. Easy access from Brittany ferries Portsmouth terminal, approx 6-8 minutes drive. Fabulous breakfast menu.

The room was very nicely decorated..The beds were comfortable. We couldn't fault the staff at all.. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had food on our first evening there which was very nice.. The pub is in a good location, not far from the station in Cosham. Definitely a good place for a base..We were meant to be staying in Southampton but that went very wrong..I'm so glad and grateful that The Red Lion had room for us..I wouldn't even bother looking for accommodation in Southampton again I'd just book and stay here instead. It's very easy to get to both Southampton and Portsmouth from here. We'll definitely be back. A big thank you to all of the team.

It was a very hot weekend, the first room had a big fan which was perfect. The second room had a small fan which didn't work very well making the room extremely hot. But that's a very minor thing
