Gill on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Onsite parking.

Swimming pool had clearly been out of use for years. People were living at the hotel. Sink was cracked. Curtain pole not straight. Masking tape around the hairdryer. Corridor smelt damp. Room had a strange smell.

Great location and good value for money at the price I paid before the refurb.

Disappointed with size of my room compared to friends who’d paid the same.

We booked 3 rooms for a concert. The reception area was clean and tidy. Unfortunately our rooms weren't ready by 3.40pm only one room was ready. Their cleaning isn't up to scratch. The 2 baths were dirty. All rooms had chips in the furniture. Our door looked like it had been kicked in previously. Wardrobe broken. I think a little TLC wouldn't go amiss. 🤔 Painting and lots of filler. The bedding and towels were clean. Bins emptied and carpets vacuum. We did think Faulty Towers when are rooms were not ready but we were the only ones waiting for our room to be " cleaned" The lift wasn't working. The bedroom was boiling. The pipe work made a lot of noise

Pub next door was pleasant

Room door wouldn't lock(unsafe), uncomfortable bed, wifi wouldn't work, very shabby.

Very friendly man on reception, clean sheets and early check in

The cleaning staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful to the man on reception whilst we were checking in. It felt very awkward to be stood there whilst she spoke down to him.

Didn’t see one member of stay other than when we checked in, the hotel smelt very bad and was not very comfortable

The bed was comfy Someone helped me upstairs with my bag Though this wouldn't have been needed if my downstairs room had been ready

Smelt of mould everywhere Check in was poor the room wasn't ready at 3 Lift was not working No net curtain and so it was private from the car park Black stuff was on the tap in the bathroom I was a build up that hadn't been cleaned The toilet flush was faulty my partner fixed it as he is a very capable person It needs knocking down and rebuilding
