Great location great staff breakfast was big and beautiful but then went for the small buck breakfast evening meals were very nice too , a very quiet location

The bedroom was very spacious and clean The bed was comfy and linen good The rest of the hotel and pub was very shabby old grubby carpets Breakfast was only one sitting at 10 on a Sunday which I missed There’s no room service and nowhere to eat when I arrived had to go to neighbouring pub

Excellent position in a lovely village

It was a bit cold first thing in the morning

Excellent location. Very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely large room. Lots of tea, coffee, milk ect. left to use which was appreciated. Excellent breakfast with very good choices for vegetarians. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Breakfast was only served between 8am and 9 am which was a bit restrictive. It would be helpful if there was a sign informing you that you had to request your room being serviced at breakfast. We arrived late and did not read the room information until the next day. It was too late by then as we had been out all day. Alternatively you could just be asked at breakfast. This did not deter from our stay though.

We visit the Scott trial every year and this is the ideal location

Menu choice for evening meal poor. Not able to book a table so only tables in bar area, not to our liking. No heating in the room or bathroom.

The location was fabulous. Staff were very welcoming. We upgraded to a larger room and it was a great size with lovely views.
