"Great stay at the Buck with a warm welcome and a great breakfast"

We had a warm welcome, and the barman took our cases up to the room for us. The ensuite room was large with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was really good, a nice collection of cereal, a choice of mains ie. Full English breakfast, sausage sandwich etc. The host was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

"Die machen dort einiges richtig im "The Buck" in Reeth"

Schönes kleines Gasthaus in Reeth mitten in den Northyorkshire Dales. Das Gasthaus liegt zentral, was bei einem 700 Seelen Dorf aber auch nicht schwer ist. Direkt am Village Green, umgeben von weiteren kleinen Hotels und Pubs, und noch ein paar weiteren Läden. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und meines hatte Blick auf den Platz. Es ist ein älteres Haus und das Mobiliar ist schon etwas älter. Alles ist aber tip top sauber und wirkt gut gewartet und gepflegt. Die Wirtsleute sind nett und morgens wird typisches Frühstück serviert. Toast and Jam und Cereals stehen auf dem Buffet bereit, alles warme wird frisch zubereitet und serviert. Genau so muss das. Unten im Pub hat es gutes Essen und ausgezeichnetes Bier wobei man den Pub im Zimmer nicht mitbekommt. Alles in allem eine runde Sache, die mir gut gefallen hat, und ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Badezimmer könnte ein paar Wandhaken zum aufhängen der Handtücher und/oder etwas Ablagefläche vertragen. Nicht dramatisch, aber wo´s hier schon steht.
