The Florentine

The Hotel appeared to have a very popular bar and restaurant although we did not have any meals during our stay. There were plenty of parking spaces.

Our stay was in December and during the run up to Christmas. This meant it was very busy but there were a lot of children who were allowed to run around the bar area and surrounding rooms which meant it was quite noisy. No alcohol is served to residents after closing time even when 2 bar people were clearing up at 1115 on the Saturday night.

Lovely hotel in a great location, spacious rooms, great value for money.

Had asked for an accessible room but was given one on upper floor. Staff did re-allocate to lower floor still two sets of stairs. Back issues which is why I was in Sheffield.

Excellent Staff, Comfy Bed and good food.

Dinner discount for residents was a plus to a very enjoyable meal

Room lighting was too dim.
