The food was ok

There was no heating or hot water and we were not informed of this at check in or keep up to date with progress. The rooms were tired and we had to request bedding for the sofa bed

Location was good, at face value property was lovely

No hot water no heating throughout stay despite saying we would have a full refund only half I received back…..night management told me it was because I decided to stay ! Was a bank holiday weekend 9pm at night, location was in the middle of nowhere nearest hotel was 250 per night ! Due to our bad experience more things became apparent, breakfast was poor, things on menu missing and the icing on the cake was the toenail that became stuck to my foot in the room! Stayed there as we were looking at booking a wedding there , relieved in some respects as we will not be wasting our money at this establishment. Even the locals said avoid!

The location was convenient and the surrounding area is pleasant

Mattress on bed was very worn. The general premises were grubby and had I arrived there earlier I would have tried to find another hotel. Staff were not very helpful.

The room was gorgeous as were the bar and restaurant absolutely stunning decor .

We were allocated a disabled room which we didn't book, totally unsuitable, no heating in the bathroom and only an electric heater in the bedroom sink for me the wrong height and no where to put toiletries for applying my make up.view from the window

Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, food was lovely.

Room 18. Broken window latch, couldn't close it properly. There was some sort of boiler right outside the window going off every 10 minutes. Stayed 2 nights hardly slept a wink.
