Location

Very run down, not what it used to be. Room was dirty, carpet was marked with dirt and radiator was full of dust.

Great stay, nice venue and well equipped for a night's stay. Dog friendly as well so you may hear the odd dog bark

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Garden and facilities were all as described and we really enjoyed our stay.

We were in the garden suite. Beautiful room but there were a few cosmetic things in the bathroom that let it down a little bit. Breakfast was good but there could be more on the plate for the full Scottish breakfast.

One room stunk of dog, the replacement stunk of fish. Getting hot water was ridiculous you had to run it for 20 mins. The he wait for food was dreadful.

Room could have been cleaner, carpets need a deep clean, bathroom generally clean but windows needed a bit attention, overall not too bad for price for one night stay.

Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Das im Preis inbegriffene Fitnessstudio war sehr ausgestattet. Das renovierte Zimmer entsprach einem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Wir hatten zunächst ein unrenoviertes Zimmer bekommen (Flecken an den Wänden, abplatzende Materialien, kaputte Fenster). Auf Nachfrage wurde uns dann sofort ein neues, modernes Zimmer angeboten. Der Wasserdruck war auch dort, vor allem bei warmen Wasser, sehr gering.
