The Oxenham Arms Hotel Devon

Friendly staff, beautiful building and the breakfast system is great, you can just get exactly what you want, no messy, wasteful buffets

It's tricky to maneuver cars around outside the hotel but the large car park around the corner makes up for this

The staff were totally brilliant and the pub feels really old and special.

The food was mixed, we had two evening meals both of which were excellent but my scrambled eggs one morning were not good. My suggestion would be for them to update the breakfast menu and nail the basics rather than offering things with hollandaise etc.

Fantastic character property, lots of history, warm, welcoming and helpful staff/owners. Food was delicious. Great location for us to explore different parts of the Moors. Unique room/bathroom.

The history of the place was astounding to say the least. We booked it for the location as we were cycling the C2C and it was a delightful surprise to learn of the many incarnations the place has had

Service at breakfast was a tad abrupt but they were short staffed i think
