Wonderful atmospheric place with a lot of history.

There were a lot of stairs and large steps .Those with poor knees would struggle.

Great breakfast (poached eggs and sausages), lovely staff and the most amazing historical building. Would love to see the building restored a little more (I'm an architect)

Friendly welcome from Simon the owner, lovely room with four poster bed, very interesting historical building, fantastic walks straight from the hotel. Delicious evening meal with efficient, friendly service and an excellent breakfast. Great location on the northern edge of Dartmoor.

It was all great. A second chair in the bedroom would have been a bonus.

Beautiful location, good atmosphere, friendly and accommodating staff, high quality dinner, great price.

Wifi was intermittent, no vegetarian breakfast option, eggs could have been better cooked for breakfast.
