Very very old coaching inn right in the middle of a village high street with limited parking, an entertaining manager, good food and quirky atmosphere.

Beautiful, old building in a lovely location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicioous with a good choice on the evening menu. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was slightly cold (but it was a very cold night).
