"Convenient stopping point if walking the Cleveland Way - no deviation from the route required. A little tired facilities"

Staff very friendly and helpful

Furnishings rather tired. We were on the top floor and our shower was only a dribble and after a long days walk far from refreshing. A 13.5 tog duvet way too hot for a hot summers night.

"Exceptional"

All the staff were very helpful, friendly and cheerful.

A bathmat in the ensuite would be nice. It seemed a shame having to use a hand towel to stand on when getting out of the shower.

Staff were friendly

We had a noise complaint at 10pm for having a shower as apparently the fan was loud in the room next door. Some of the furniture in one of the rooms was broken and the rooms were small

Had initial reservations as it looked so quiet but found it was fantastic place lovely decor & comfy twin beds lovely & clean with kettle & well presented drinks tray We had dinner there & found it was lovely home cooked food & hand cut chips Staff were pleasant & chatty & offered to help with bags if we needed it Breakfast was a ticked choice & was cooked once we got there A great find & would definitely recommend for a stay or dinner

A great place to stay in a lovely, quiet area. The staff are friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable. Very convenient to have a fridge in the room.

"Sadly wouldn't return."

It was in a lovely location, easy to find ajd 12 minutes away from Saltburn where we planned to visit the day after.

The bedroom floor was wet on the left side. Smelt of damp also which isn't great as we're both asthmatic. The breakfast wasn't great which for £10 I expected better.
